This house can accommodate either 6 adults or 4 adults with 4/5 children and offers every modern appliance
The kitchen is fully equipped with built in fridge-freezer and dishwasher
The large utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, an extra fridge and ironing facilities
The adjacent dining area seats eight.
The lounge has comfortable seating for 9 people, at Television with French and English channels, and a Sony Hi Fi system
There are two separate toilets, a shower room and bathroom, with double basin, bath and bidet
The house has full central heating and combined hot water

Pets are permitted but there will be a small charge for extra cleaning upon departure

The grounds:
The house stands in a quarter of an acre of private grounds, with a large gravelled area and lawns leading to 2 acres of adjoining meadow and woodland, which is ideal for relaxing, picnics and for the children to play. The meadow overlooks the Charente Valley and the rooftops of the village. There are splendid walks through the vineyards and fields of sunflowers

Nearby:
There are many interesting places within easy driving distance, such as Cognac, or the city of Angouleme itself, with its many restaurants and all the facilities one would expect.

The Atlantic coast offers magnificent beaches and places of interest. Day trips can be taken to such place as La Rochelle and Ile de Re.

Fishing in the river Charente is a stones throw away and is popular with many people. There is also shallow (2-3 feet) swimming in the Charente at Montignac, 6 Kms from Vouharte, this is also a lovely picnicking area

There is also Gognac and its fine Chateaus, Futurescope and many more visitor attractions to see and visit
