The house is on two floors and accommodates 4 people.

Here you will find satellite TV a CD player and a large collection of books and games. Three steps lead down to the kitchen/dining area. The fully fitted kitchen includes gas hob, electric oven, fridge and dishwasher. Sliding doors lead onto the terrace and outdoor eating area. There is also a cellar where you will find the washing machine and ample storage space.

Prices are per week, inclusive of linen, water, electricity and gas, but not towels. We reserve the right to levy a surcharge if you require central heating or firewood. Babysitting and maid service available.

The grounds:
The 9 x 4 m swimming pool has a Roman end, which provides the ideal paddling area for younger children. A large terrace, with plenty of outdoor furnishing surrounds the pool. Mature Oak trees offer shade for the terrace in front of the house, an ideal eating area looking out over the garden and view beyond. There is ample parking for two or more cars.

Nearby:
The village of Curemonte dates back to the 11th century and has been honoured with the title of “L’un des plus beaux villages de France”. Despite its numerous attractions (3 Chateaux, 3 churches and a market hall), it remains very much a working village, with a boulangerie, post office, bar/tabac and three restaurants. There is also a local farmers market once a week in the summer months.

Beaulieu sur Dordogne, just 10 minutes from Curemonte and, as its name suggests, situated on the Dordogne River, is a small market town with many shops, several bars and restaurants and a twice-weekly market. The Benedictine Abbey and Chapelle des Penitents are in the centre of the town, canoes can be hired at the river, as well as boat trips on the traditional “Gabares”.
