Location Sérénité is a spacious detached house easily able to accommodate up to eight people. It is situated within one and a half hectares of peaceful gardens and woodland. It was converted from its original use as an old distillery some twenty years ago.

The Property:
The house is fully centrally heated and arranged on two levels. The first floor comprises a fully fitted kitchen, dining room, and a large lounge with open fireplace, a double bedroom with en-suite facilities, two twin bedrooms, a family bathroom and two separate wc's. The ground floor has a further en-suite double room and a games room with a pool/snooker table. The ground level can be reached either by the internal staircase from the first floor or independently from the garden.

Sérénité is ideal for up to two families and will comfortably sleep eight people. Bed linen and towels are included within the rental fee. There is also a satellite TV, video and Hi-Fi offering alternative entertainment for all ages.

The grounds:
The property is situated within its own private and secure gardens and woodland. There is a small pond near the far boundary of the property, which is regularly visited by a host of wildlife. The whole ambience is one of peace and tranquillity. The accommodation extends outside of the house too. The heated, 10 x 4 metre pool, complete with Roman steps for easy access, is surrounded by a large patio complete with garden furniture. An alternative patio area, accessible from the lounge, is the perfect place for BBQ's, relaxation or sampling the local wine. There is ample parking space at the rear of the property and garage space for two cars. Our pool has child proof fencing around according to French law (AFNOR STANDARDS).

Nearby:
The market village of Villefranche de Lonchat is within easy reach, with its market place, boulangerie, pharmacie, restaurants and bars. The medieval town of St. Emilion and historic Bergerac are both within a pleasant thirty-minute drive. For the more adventurous, Lac de Gurson offers a wealth of sporting and leisure activities. The spectacular Dordogne valley is only minutes away.
