The Property:
La Repose is furnished to a high standard and has full central heating for the colder months. It is south facing so it catches the maximum sun all year round
The first floor accommodation consists of two double bedrooms, (one with king size bed), and two twin bedrooms. A cot and small child's bed are also available. There is also an upstairs toilet with hand basin.
On the ground floor there is an entrance hallway leading to a large lounge/dining room which has a large dining table, oak three-piece suite, satellite TV with video/dvd player, two ceiling fanlights and a fire place. On the right of the entrance hall is a large modern bathroom with shower cubicle, bidet, basin and washing machine.
Alongside the stairs there is also another toilet/cloak-room with hand basin. The modern oak fitted kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee percolator, kettle, fridge freezer, and oven, as well as all every-day cooking utensils.
The peace and tranquillity of La Repose is like a good wine, much better to taste and savour than to save

The grounds:
At the front of the house is a totally enclosed walled garden that can be accessed through doors leading from the lounge, hallway or kitchen. Garden furniture, sun beds and a barbeque are all provided. A full size in ground pool has been installed for 2005

Nearby:
The house is situated in a small hamlet only a few kilometres from the historical market town of Melle with its restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Just beyond Melle is the large lake at Lambon where boating and swimming are on offer. It is only a 30 minute drive to Niort, the capital of Deux Sevres
